Painted Tags

Hi everyone,

Just a little gift here for you.  It is a free digital download, no strings attached.  I created some painted tags and wanted to share them with you to cut out and use.

I use these in my art journals, my planners, and as collage pieces in my artwork.  You can print them on any type of paper that your printer can handle.  I prefer white cardstock as it creates the thickness of a tag.  I use them to highlight words, to use for titles, quotes, etc.  I also use 2 identical ones to attach to the edge of the paper to create a tab so I can find something quickly, or just for decoration.  Print them out on sticker paper, then cut out to use as labels, and name tags.  The possibilities are endless.

Click on the link below and it will open up the PDF.  Download it to your computer, or perhaps you can just print from there.

I would love to see what you create with them.  Just leave me a comment below and/or tag me on your instagram posts.

Don't miss another freebie.....enter you email above and click submit to receive my blog updates.

Sailboats and Sunsets

Standing on the dock, overlooking the sailboats on the nearly still water, with the sun setting behind them, I feel the wisdom of the flow of life.  It's the end of the day.  The adventurers have returned their sailboats to the dock from a beautiful day out on the water.  Now all is calm and beginning to rest in preparation for the next day ahead. I feel peace and calm.

Photos take me away to another place and time.  They make me daydream of being somewhere I may have never been before, or to a place I long to return to someday.

In a daydream I add elements and senses that a photograph does not provide.  In this photograph, I daydreamed of the sound of the small calm swoosh of little waves against the hulls of the boats, the faint aroma of fish, the seagulls flying overhead, calling their fellow gulls to head home, and the changing color of the sky as the sun slowly sets over the horizon.

Ah, what a nice way to relax.

My Big Dream Journal

I wanted to share this journal with you.  It is a Big Dream Journal.  I have created one each year for the past 3 years.  This one is my favorite.  It is inspired by Traci Bautista and her online art classes (www.artjournalplay.com).  Enjoy, and please leave me any questions or feedback.
